Cats!

Okay, I know this is a food blog (and I'm the one that designated it as one) but I wanted to share some of the photos today I took for an animal charity's website. I love cats and it was a really nice opportunity to spend an afternoon playing with them, cuddling them and snapping shots... cats are tricky subjects. They look around a lot. And some of them do not stop moving EVER. As someone with no formal photography experience it's a real eye opener to try and photograph subjects that you can't position and reposition to your heart's content... and it was also a real crash course in how to use my new camera!
